Both Governor Doyle and President Obama are placing a great deal of emphasis on developing our energy independence and promoting jobs and careers in the field of green energy.
Some of the alternative energy sources being discussed include solar, wind, clean coal technology, and biofuels. These topics are highly scientific and technical, leaving the lay person largely uninformed.

GREENR Database
GREENR (Global Reference on the Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources) is a new online resource that offers authoritative content on the development of emerging green technologies and discusses issues on the environment, sustainability and more.
APL has decided to purchase this database for one year. This decision was made because GREENR makes a tremendous effort to bring together not only matters of environmental concern, but couples these with political, economic, and social issues. Even the job market is included.
