Federal Census |
||
The Federal Census can provide valuable information for the genealogical researcher. For information on what type of data is provided on different federal census records see Census Records from the National Archives. The 1890 census for most of the United States, including Wisconsin, is not available due to a fire that destroyed most of the records. | Langlade Historical Society is a terrific source of local history, artifacts, cemeteries, high school graduates and teachers, military veterans from the Civil War through the Korean War, etc. | Langlade County Register of Deeds is your best source for vital records like birth, death and marriage certificates. You can apply online for copies and pay by credit card. | |
| Langlade County Genealogical Society has an excellent listing of cemeteries in the county, by city and township location. | Langlade County Genealogical Research Group has several specialty items like township history, Czech research, and some recollections from the Antigo Daily Journal. | |
