The Antigo Public Library is a Joint City-County Library. As such, administration from CH. 43 in Wisconsin State Library will be referenced from those provisions set forth for a Joint-Library rather than a municipal or consolidated county library. According to Google, there are currently 381 municipal and county libraries serving all 72 of Wisconsin’s counties. A Joint Library is an alternative to a municipal or a county library created according the WI 43.53 (1).
